Who takes the money back
Paddle is the seller. It is our Merchant of Record, which means Paddle — not Mykola Semeniuk, individual entrepreneur (ФОП Семенюк Микола Миколайович) — sells you the subscription, takes the payment, works out and pays whatever VAT or sales tax is due where you live, issues the invoice, and processes any refund. No card field exists anywhere in our code; checkout is Paddle's own page and we never see a card number.
In practice that means we cannot move money ourselves. What we can do is decide that a refund is owed and tell Paddle to make it, which is what happens when you write to us. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase, and Paddle can refund a transaction on its own account.
The policy
Try it before you buy it. Pro monthly has a fourteen-day trial. It needs a card, and it becomes a paid subscription automatically when the fourteen days are up. Cancel before then and nothing is charged, so the trial — not a refund — is the intended way to find out whether this product is for you. The annual plan has no trial.
Once you have been charged:
- Within 14 days of a charge, ask and you get it back. No reason needed, no questions about what you did with the product.
- If something on our side broke, ask whenever. An outage that cost you the month, a feature that did not do what this site says it does, a charge you did not expect — that is not a discretionary refund, it is a mistake of ours, and the window is not the point.
- Outside the window, a subscription is not pro-rated. Cancelling stops the next payment and leaves Pro running until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not cut that short and we do not refund the unused part of it — you keep what you bought.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within fourteen days. Nothing on this page takes that away, and we are not going to argue about which right you are exercising.
A refund returns what you were actually charged, tax included. Paddle handles that part; the amount that comes back is the amount on your receipt.
How to ask
Write to mykola@tellwor.app. It reaches a person, not a queue and not a bot. Say which email address you paid with, or forward the receipt Paddle sent you — that is enough to find the transaction. You do not have to explain yourself.
We answer within within a few working days. If we have gone quiet, send it again.
You can also go straight to Paddle: its receipt links to the customer portal, where you can see your invoices and contact Paddle's own support. That route works whether or not we answer, which is the point of a Merchant of Record.
Once a refund is agreed, the money goes back the way it came, and how long it takes after that is your bank's business rather than ours or Paddle's.
What happens after a refund
The subscription ends and the account falls back to the free plan. That is the whole consequence.
Nothing you captured is deleted
Not for a refund, not for a cancellation, not for a lapsed card. Every memory, every file, every script stays exactly where it is and stays readable. If you are over the free gigabyte you simply cannot upload anything new until you are under it again — nothing already stored is touched.
Taking all of it out is free on every plan, refunded or not — a zip of your own rows and your own files, with nothing checking what you pay. There is no button for it in the product yet, so it is an address you visit; the privacy page has the address, and we will send you the file if you would rather ask. See the terms for the rest.
Failed payments and chargebacks
If a payment fails, Paddle retries it and Pro keeps working while it does. A card that failed on a Tuesday is a bank's problem, and locking somebody out of their own notes over it would be a far worse mistake than a few unpaid days.
If a charge looks wrong, write to us before you call your bank. A refund is faster than a chargeback, we can actually arrange one, and a chargeback is decided by companies that have never heard of either of us.
That said: if you think you have been charged fraudulently, do whatever you need to. We would rather you were made whole than polite about it.
