Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and Mykola Semeniuk, individual entrepreneur (ФОП Семенюк Микола Миколайович), registered in Ukraine under 3802604951, at vul. Olhy Kobylianskoi 7, Kamianka, Chernivtsi district, Chernivtsi oblast, 60427, Ukraine. In this document "we" is that company and "you" is whoever is signed in.

Using Tellwor means agreeing to them. If you do not, do not sign in — and if you have already signed in and changed your mind, take your data out (it is free, always) and stop.

What Tellwor is

A workspace for keeping the things you thought were worth remembering, and for turning some of them into a video. It has two halves: Creative Memory, which is yours and belongs to no project, and a Video Workspace, which is one story being built out of it.

There is no AI in Tellwor. Nothing you write is sent to a model, no audio is transcribed, no text is generated, no embedding is made. Search is a full-text index over your own words on our own server. If that ever changes it will be a decision announced on this site before it ships, not a quiet addition.

It is not a video editor, not a backup service and not a publishing platform. It stores what you put in it and shows it back to you.

Your account

An account is created by signing in with Google, which is the only way in. We never see a password and never store one. Whoever can get into your Google account can get into your Tellwor account, so that is the thing to look after.

• One account is one person. Do not share the sign-in.
• You must be at least 16 to have one.
• Everything done from your account counts as done by you, including anything done with an API key you created.
• We can block an account for the reasons in Acceptable use. A block deletes nothing, but it stops sign-in, and sign-in is the only door the export has — see Ending it.

Your work stays yours

You keep every right you had in everything you put into Tellwor. We claim nothing. We do not become a co-author of your script by storing it.

To run the service we need one narrow permission, and this is its whole extent: you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store your material, copy it into our backups, generate thumbnails and preview frames from it, and show it back to you — and to anyone you hand a share link to. It is worldwide only because servers are, and it lasts only as long as we are holding the material for you. Delete something and the licence over it ends with it.

We do not use your material to train anything, and could not: no model exists in this product. We do not read it, publish it, sell it, license it onward or show it to anyone you have not given a link to.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. A meme somebody else made, a clip from a film, a photograph you did not take — keeping those in a private workspace is your call and your risk, and it becomes a real question the moment you share a link to one.

Share links and keys

A share link hands one video — its title, its direction, its full script, and every memory placed in it — to anyone holding the URL. There is no sign-in on it, it does not expire, and we do not record who opens it. It is the one way material leaves your account by design. Revoke it in the app when it has done its job.

An API key is made in the app and comes in two kinds, which are not equally dangerous. Acapture key does one thing — save a new memory — and is refused at the door for everything else: it cannot read a memory, a script or a share link, and it cannot change or delete anything. That is the key a phone Shortcut holds, and it is the one most people will ever make. A full key is the other kind, and that one does act as you, with everything you can do; MCP needs one and a Shortcut never does.

Either kind is shown once and is not recoverable. Treat a full key the way you treat a password, and revoke either in the app if it goes somewhere it should not have.

What you do with either is your decision, and the consequences are yours too.

Acceptable use

Do not use Tellwor to:

• store or pass on material that is illegal where you are or where we are;
• store sexual material involving children, under any circumstances;
• store or share material you have no right to hold or hand on;
• harass, threaten or expose somebody, including through a share link;
• attack the service — probing for other accounts' data, guessing at file addresses or share tokens, scraping, or hammering it hard enough to degrade it for anybody else;
• resell access, or run somebody else's product on top of an account of ours.

There are rate limits in the way of the last two, and they are deliberately loose enough that ordinary work never meets them.

Worth saying plainly: nobody reads your memories. There is no scanning, no classifier and no review queue, so we find out about a problem only when somebody tells us. If a report is credible we will look at what we have to and no further, and we will say what we did.

Plans and payment

What each plan is

Free

1 GB of media, and as many stories as you like. Text, links and notes are not media and are never counted against it.

Pro

$9.99 a month, or $89 a year. 50 GB of media, and three things the free plan does not have: folder import, which brings a nested folder tree in as groups; script export, which packages a finished video as prompter text, an editor brief, the media you chose and a CSV tying each word to the memory anchored on it; and MCP access, which lets you point your own AI assistant at your own memory. Nothing else differs.

Taking your own data out is free on both, and always will be. That is separate from the Pro export, which sells shape rather than access — see the privacy page for exactly what each one contains.

The trial

Pro monthly comes with a fourteen-day trial. It requires a card, taken at the start by Paddle, and it turns into a paid subscription automatically when the fourteen days are up. Cancel before then and you are not charged.

The trial is one per person, not one per subscription. If you have subscribed before, you may be offered the same plan at the same price with no trial on it.

The annual plan has no trial.

Who takes the money

Paddle is the seller. Paddle is our Merchant of Record: it sells you the subscription, takes the payment, calculates and pays whatever VAT or sales tax is due where you live, and issues the invoice. No card field exists anywhere in our code — checkout is Paddle's own page, and what comes back to us is a signed message saying what you bought. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the purchase alongside these terms.

Cancelling, changing a card, changing plan and finding an invoice all happen in Paddle's customer portal, which you reach from the billing panel in the app.

Renewal, cancellation and failed payments

• A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
• You can cancel at any moment. Pro stays live until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not cut it short and we do not refund the remainder — see Refunds.
• If a payment fails, Paddle retries it, and we keep Pro live while it does. A card that failed on a Tuesday is a bank's problem, not a reason to take your workspace away.
• If the price changes it will be published here first, and it can only apply to you from your next renewal — so you always have a period in which to cancel instead.

When a plan lapses

The three Pro features stop at the same moment: no folder import, no script export, no MCP. The free export of your own data is not one of them and stays available, because being unable to add and unable to leave at the same time would make your memory a hostage.

This is not a promotional promise. It is enforced in the code as a condition on writes, and the rule is written at the top of the file that handles payments so that nobody later edits it away by accident.

Ending it

You can stop whenever you like. Cancel the subscription in Paddle's portal, take your data out of the app, and — if you want the account gone — write to mykola@tellwor.app and we will delete it. There is no delete button in the product yet; deletion is done by hand, within thirty days, and we confirm when it is finished.

We can suspend or block an account that is doing one of the things in Acceptable use. Where we can, we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to answer. What a block does is worth stating exactly: it deletes nothing, but it ends every session on the account, and the export is behind a session like everything else — so a blocked account cannot fetch its own data. Write to mykola@tellwor.app and we will produce the zip for you. That is a worse answer than an export that keeps working, and it is what the product does today rather than what we would like it to do. We will remove material without warning only where the law requires it or where somebody is being seriously harmed.

If we ever shut Tellwor down for good, we will say so here at least 90 in advance, keep it possible to take your data out until the last day, and charge nobody for a period they will not get.

What we do not promise

Tellwor is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available at any particular moment, that it will never lose anything, or that it fits any purpose you have in mind. To the extent the law lets us, we exclude the implied warranties.

Two specific things you should size your expectations against:

• It is one server in one datacentre. There is no failover. When it is down, the product is down.
• The database backup is nightly at best. The dump exists and runs on a timer that is switched on by hand on the server, so the privacy page says whether it is on rather than promising it here. In a genuine disaster, assume at least the last day is gone. Media is held by Cloudflare rather than in that dump, and we copy it nowhere else.

Tellwor is not a backup service, and it is not the only place your work should exist. Export it. It is free on every plan and it is a zip of your own rows and your own files — though today it is an address you visit rather than a button you press, and the privacy page has the address.

Liability

We are liable for what we do wrong, up to a limit, and the limit is the total you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost revenue, lost audience, lost time, a video that did not go out.

Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law puts beyond a contract's reach. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are untouched by this document and by any other part of it.

Law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, and the courts of Ukraine deal with any dispute. If you are a consumer somewhere else, that does not take away the protection your own country's mandatory law gives you, nor your right to go to a court there.

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The product sends no email and there is no mailing list, so https://tellwor.app is where a change appears. A change that matters — the price, what a plan includes, what happens to your material — will not be applied to an existing subscription before its next renewal.
